Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) with Microneedling

Microneedling is one of the latest and most popular trends in beauty and skincare. The process of microneedling with PRP is simple, painless, and cost effective.

First, we take blood as we do for all Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) procedures to get the Platelet Rich Plasma. Next, while the blood is in the centrifuge, our Dr. uses a medical grade “skin pen” to make tiny holes in the top layer of the skin. The pen we use is sterile, sanitary, and completely disposable/ only used once on each individual patient. The pen is comprised of many fine needles to puncture the skin allowing it to open up for the PRP or as we call it, liquid gold.

Once the blood is separated and removed from the centrifuge, we painlessly place it on the area that has been microneedled. The tiny holes create an almost “aerated” surface that allows the PRP to penetrate for rejuvenation and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes.

What to Expect After Your Procedure
After your procedure you should not be sore or have any pain. You may be red or look a bit inflamed for 24-48 hours but nothing that would prohibit you from day-to-day activity or cause alarm.

Who Should Do Microneedling with PRP?

PRP with microneedling can have great results for those with:

Acne scarring

Dark under-eye circles

Smile lines

Marionette lines

Dull or darkened skin

Hollow cheeks

PRP Cosmetic Procedures

PRP is a safe solution to restoring skin health and appearance. Because PRP is full of plasma, growth factors, and blood platelets when injected PRP stimulates collagen production. PRP injections result in younger, firmer, and fuller looking skin.

How It Works

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a highly concentrated autologous serum that is rich in growth factors and cytokines such as platelet-derived growth factor, transforming growth factor, insulin-like growth factor, and vascular endothelial growth factor. These growth factors regulate and induce cell migration, attachment proliferation, and differentiation as well as promote extracellular matrix accumulation.

Microneedling with PRP

Unlike most procedures, microneedling with PRP offers a way of both restoring shape, and improving tone and texture, as well as literally rejuvenating new and younger tissue! When your very own PRP from your blood is “activated” and injected the release at least 8 growth factors to heal injured tissue. These growth factors cause increased collagen & new blood flow to rejuvenate new skin.

Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. These needles are used to puncture the skin at various depths to create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that stimulates neovascularization and neocollagenesis to fill these microscopic wounds.

We Also Offer:

Microneedling (without PRP)
